Chris had seen what happened to the aluminum boom arms on his previous CASE IH sprayer — chemical exposure was breaking down the paint on the underside of the booms, season after season. When his new 4450 arrived with 135-foot aluminum booms, he didn't wait to find out if the same thing would happen.
In December, InduroPro was applied to the full 135-foot boom arm span. The prep was simple — clean the booms, wipe down with alcohol, apply. Done in a day.
"The prep work wasn't bad. We made sure the booms were really clean starting out, and then we wiped it down with some alcohol and then applied it. These booms, you can do it in a day pretty easy."

"The ceramics life expectancy wasn't — it seems like the more times I wash it you can just tell it's getting weaker and weaker. It's just kind of losing its..."
"It holds the color really good. It seems like it's holding up real good. Definitely have been able to tell a difference."
