PROTECTING EQUIPMENT BEFORE DAMAGE SPREADS

INDUROPRO PRESERVES A CAT SKID STEER’S FINISH

Gillett Shine Works, an Armus Marine Hull Pro installer, applied InduroPro to a CAT Skid Steer that was less than two years old but already showing early signs of UV fading and light abrasion. While the machine was still in good condition, the owner wanted to protect it before cosmetic wear turned into long-term surface degradation.

InduroPro was selected specifically for its abrasion resistance and UV protection, creating a durable ceramicized epoxy barrier over the painted surfaces and hard cab top. The result is a skid steer that looks brighter, cleaner, and better protected against daily jobsite exposure—preserving both its appearance and long-term value.

PROACTIVE PROTECTION FOR MODERN EQUIPMENT

ADDRESSING UV AND SURFACE WEAR

This CAT Skid Steer was less than 2 years old but already showing UV exposure and light abrasive scuffs across its painted panels.

Rather than waiting for oxidation and paint breakdown to progress, Gillett Shine Works applied InduroPro as a preventive solution. By sealing the existing finish early, the owner locked in color depth and surface integrity before long-term damage could develop.

FULL SURFACE COVERAGE WHERE IT MATTERS

PROTECTING PANELS & CAB COMPONENTS

InduroPro was applied across the skid steer’s painted body panels and the hardtop of the cab, an area especially vulnerable to UV fading. The ceramicized epoxy coating restores gloss while forming a hard, protective layer that resists abrasion and environmental wear. With the cab roof sealed against sun exposure and the body panels shielded from jobsite scuffs, the equipment now maintains a brighter, cleaner appearance throughout daily operation.

BUILT TO STAY BRIGHT AND DURABLE

INDUROPRO AS A LONG-TERM EQUIPMENT PROTECTION STRATEGY

Heavy equipment may be designed for work, but appearance and surface integrity still matter—especially when operating in visible, customer-facing environments. With InduroPro applied, this CAT Skid Steer now carries a semi-permanent ceramicized epoxy barrier that protects against UV degradation, oxidation, and surface abrasion.

Unlike waxes or wipe-on coatings that require frequent reapplication, InduroPro bonds to properly prepared surfaces and delivers long-lasting protection without special maintenance routines. For this owner, that means a skid steer that stays professional-looking, easier to maintain, and better protected against the daily wear of the jobsite.
