PROTECTING HIGH-WEAR FLEET SURFACES

COST-EFFECTIVE COVERAGE WITH INDUROPRO

Instead of coating the entire vehicle, The Boatler targeted the Sprinter van’s black bumpers, body side molding, and mirrors with InduroPro—areas that face the heaviest use from loading, unloading, and daily driving. Using just two kits, the coating restored faded plastics to a deep gloss while adding a protective barrier against scuffs, scratches, and UV wear.

For fleet operators, this approach provides maximum protection with minimal material, keeping vans looking sharp and extending service life where it matters most. InduroPro helps reduce repaint cycles, cut downtime, and maintain a consistent professional image across the fleet.

FLEXIBLE PROTECTION OPTIONS

KIT SIZES AND COVERAGE THAT FIT EVERY PROJECT

Not every equipment owner needs or wants full-body coverage, and InduroPro makes it easy to scale protection.

Skid steers collect grease, oil, and dirt across every joint and panel. Removing these contaminants is essential. Once clean, InduroPro was applied across all surfaces except the bucket, forming a smooth, sealed finish ready for jobsite protection.

COVERAGE WHERE WEAR HAPPENS MOST

PROTECTING BUMPERS, SIDE MOLDING, AND MIRRORS

Instead of coating the entire vehicle, The Boatler focused on the Sprinter’s black bumpers, body side molding, and side mirrors. These components see the most abrasion from loading docks, daily driving, and tight parking spaces. With InduroPro in place, they now carry a high-gloss ceramicized epoxy shield that resists scratches, UV fading, and moisture damage while reviving the van’s overall look. This targeted approach proves that even partial coverage can deliver long-lasting protection and value without the cost of a full-vehicle coating.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PROTECTION

PROTECTING HIGH-WEAR POINTS ON A 2017 FORD TRANSIT T250 WORK VAN

The Boatler in Fairhope, Alabama applied InduroPro to a 2017 Ford Transit T250 commercial work van with 8+ years of heavy use. Unlike most InduroPro projects that coat full equipment chassis, this application targeted specific high-wear points — bumpers, side mirrors, and body side molding — the areas that take the most daily abuse on a commercial vehicle.

Using 1 × 8.5 oz kit plus 1 × 4.2 oz kit of InduroPro ceramicized epoxy, the team coated the targeted high-wear zones. The smaller kit combination demonstrates InduroPro's scalability for partial-coverage applications — operators don't need to coat an entire vehicle to get meaningful protection where it matters most.

Commercial work vans face a different set of stresses than heavy equipment but the end result is the same: paint degradation, corrosion, and a vehicle that looks older than it is. Bumpers take constant contact from parking, loading, and tight urban navigation. Side mirrors get scraped and scuffed. Body side molding bears the brunt of debris, door dings, and cargo loading impact.

After 8 years, the Transit T250's factory paint had long since lost its ability to protect these high-contact areas. Rather than invest in a full-vehicle repaint — which would be disproportionately expensive for a work van — the targeted InduroPro application protected only the zones that needed it most.

For commercial fleet operators running vans, trucks, and delivery vehicles, InduroPro's kit-based approach allows targeted protection of high-wear areas without the cost or downtime of full-vehicle repainting. The ceramicized epoxy barrier protects against UV, chemical, and impact damage at the specific points that degrade fastest — extending the vehicle's professional appearance and reducing maintenance costs.

BUILT FOR HEAVY FLEET USE

INDUROPRO PROTECTION WHERE IT'S NEEDED MOST

With just one 8.5 oz and one 2.25 oz kit, The Boatler coated the Sprinter van’s front and rear bumpers, black body side molding, and mirrors. These areas take the brunt of daily wear from cargo handling, parking contact, and road exposure. InduroPro revived the surfaces with a rich, professional look and sealed them with a ceramicized epoxy shield designed to resist scratches, UV damage, and moisture.

For operators and fleet owners, this selective application is a cost-effective way to protect high-impact areas. It ensures vans not only stay durable under heavy use but also project a professional image on the road—an investment in both appearance and long-term performance.
