project results: protection where it counts
- 01
TARGETED FUTURE RUST PREVENTION
Protected the RBR Venturi 430 and Salford RA-885’s most vulnerable wear points against future corrosion.
- 02
EXTENDED SERVICE LIFE
Sealed exposed bare and metal components to prevent water damage and extend machine longevity.
- 03
SURFACE PROTECTION
InduroPro’s ceramicized epoxy layer provides lasting durability, UV resistance, and shine over painted and metal surfaces.
- 04
REDUCED DOWNTIME
Lowered risk of in-season failures by reinforcing critical areas that face heavy stress.
AN INVESTMENT COATING FOR AG EQUIPMENT OWNERS
REAL SAVINGS FROM RUST PREVENTION AND DOWNTIME REDUCTION
In agriculture, downtime during planting or fertilizer application can quickly add up. A spreader and applicator unit like this can cover 150–250 acres per day, depending on field conditions. With custom application rates averaging $7–$10 per acre, that’s $1,000–$2,500 in lost revenue per day if equipment is sidelined. Axle or frame corrosion-related repairs can run $2,000–$5,000 in parts and labor, not including missed acres during peak demand.
By sealing bare and painted metal with InduroPro, InduroPro ensures this RBR Venturi 430 and Salford RA-885 stays in service longer with fewer interruptions. Avoiding just one breakdown or premature repaint cycle can easily save $5,000–$8,000+ in combined costs—making InduroPro a clear investment for ag operators who depend on uptime and equipment reliability.
PROPER PREP FOR LASTING RESULTS
CLEAN SURFACES & REMOVE RUST BEFORE APPLICATION
The Boatler prepared the RBR Venturi 430 and Salford RA-885 spreader with a full wash and removal of visible rust before coating.

Three InduroPro kits were then applied across painted and bare metal surfaces—including the axle and high-wear areas—to seal against future moisture damage and corrosion.
PROTECTION WHERE IT COUNTS
AXLE, BARE METAL, AND HIGH-WEAR COMPONENTS

Agricultural spreaders endure heavy use in harsh conditions, from fertilizer residue to constant vibration and moisture exposure. For this project, InduroPro was applied strategically to the axle, exposed frames, and stress points most prone to early wear. By targeting these areas, The Boatler created a durable epoxy shield that resists rust and abrasion. This selective approach ensures long-term protection of the combine-spreader pairing while controlling application cost and material usage.
BUILT FOR THE FIELD, SEASON AFTER SEASON
INDUROPRO AS A LONGTERM EQUIPMENT INVESTMENT
The Venturi 430 and RA-885 spreader face high workloads in seeding and fertilizing seasons, where moisture and residue rapidly attack unprotected metal. With InduroPro applied to key wear points, these machines now carry a tough, glossy barrier that shields against corrosion and makes cleanup easier. By preventing small problem spots from growing into larger failures, operators gain more confidence in their equipment’s reliability.
InduroPro acts as an investment coating—one designed to cut repaint frequency, block rust from forming after exposure to water and fertilizer, and extend the functional life of critical components. For ag operators, fewer breakdowns and less downtime mean stronger returns per acre and more acres covered when it matters most.
